Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Dr Danladi Jatau, says that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) will survive beyond 2027 in the country.
The speaker stated this on Tuesday in Lafia while playing host to the 13 APC LG Chairmen in the state
Jatau said that the ruling APC in the country and the state was performing well.
He also revealed that the performance of Gov. Abdullahi Sule in the state wad attracting many opposition lawmakers and other people to the APC.
Jatau appreciated the APC local government councils
chairmen for the visit and assured of them of synergy for the unity and progress of the party in the state.
” I want to appreciate you for expressing your happiness over our effective synergy and support to Sule to succeed.
” I want to assure you of our support to the party and I hope that by God’s grace, the party will survive beyond 2027,” he said.
The speaker commended Sule for his giant developmental strides in the state.
” As I used to say, Gov. Sule is God-sent to the people of the state.
” And because of his performance in the state, he has attracted many people to join the party in the state.
” We are happy with his Excellency’s performance and we will continue to give him all the necessary support to succeed,” he said.
Jatau urged the stakeholders and members of the party to continue to remain united for the
progress of the party beyond 2027.
The speaker urged the citizens of the state to continue to pray and support Sule to end his tenure well in 2027.
Earlier, Mr Umar Aliyu, the leader of the delegation and APC Chairman, Lafia LGA, said that the visit was to interface with the lawmakers of APC extraction for the unity and progress of the party.
Aliyu appreciated the speaker and APC members for what he described as good work they were executing.
