The Director General, South-East Governors Forum, Senator Uche Ekwunife,
has congratulated Igwe Nnaemeka Achebe, on his recent appointment as the South East traditional ruler’s council chairman.
Igwe Nnaemeka Achebe is the the Obi of Onitsha, in Anambra State.
Ekwunife in a statement in Awka on Tuesday, described the appointment as a testament to his sound academic background, resilience, and outstanding leadership strides.

TO A FIRST-CLASS KING, AGBOGIDI! CONGRATULATIONS ON THIS NEW ROYAL MANDATE
Your Majesty,
On behalf of my family and the South-East Governors Forum Secretariat, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to you on your well-deserved emergence as the Chairman of the South-East Traditional Rulers Council.
Your ascension to this revered position is a testament to your sound academic background, resilience, and outstanding leadership strides since your enthronement in 2002.
Over the years, you have exemplified the essence of Igbo traditional leadership, upholding the rich heritage of our people while promoting unity, peace, and development across the region.
As you assume this new responsibility, I have no doubt that your wisdom, experience, and commitment to the progress of the South-East will further strengthen the traditional institution and enhance its role in regional and national affairs.
May your reign as Chairman bring prosperity and greater harmony to our people.
